My Top Ten Favorite Drugstore Makeup Products
Today, I'm sharing my top ten favorite drugstore beauty buys with you. Some of them are long time favorites that I have used and sworn by for years, others are newer love affairs (but no less amazing.) So without further ado, let's dive in...

1. Infallible Pro-Matte, if you obsess over YouTube makeup tutorials like I do, then you have probably seen someone review this or it's pro-glow sister formula in the last couple of years. It provides amazing coverage, lasts ALL day and for me, the matte formula is amazing during these hot and humid summers.

2. Maybeline Master Conceal is my obsession! Most days, when I'm too rushed to do a full face I will just dab a few dots of this under my eyes and around my problem areas and blend out. It's full coverage and doesn't seem at all to settle into my creases. I love it and am constantly recommending it.

3. e.l.f. Poreless Face Primer. Everyone hates their pores, right? Right. This primer will help to even out your skin, prep it and fill in those pores before applying makeup. It feels super silky smooth and only retails at $6!

4.Wet n' Wild megaglo Contouring Palette, Contour, contour, contour.... I wonder how many millions of dollars the makeup world has made off of contouring products since the onslaught of  YouTube Makeup channels. I found this palette to work really well for the price. It was very pigmented and stayed in place all day. At $3.95, I'm not sure how you can beat it.

5. Wet n wild Brushes... Another win from Wet n Wild.... I don't know if it's just me, but when I was a kid I always viewed this brand as the really cheap makeup you would buy when you couldn't afford the good stuff and then it probably wouldn't do much to impress you.
Anyway, I have been so pleased with everything I have tried from them over the last couple of years. For an extremely inexpensive price point, the brand is definitely delivering.

6. Voluminous Superstar Mascara by L'oreal has been a favorite of mine for a while. The primer makes your lashes look so long and almost fake.

7. NYX sculpt and highlight brow contour, I recently found this in the clearance bin at Target and bought a few sticks. It does such a good job of filling in the brows without looking too drawn on and the concealer helps clean up the lines for a flawless look. [Note, my brows in these pictures are filled in with a different, less amazing product, because my daughter has been stealing/hiding all of my makeup lately. (A perfect example of why I love these less expensive products.. they're easier to replace.)]

8. Revlon Color Stay Liquid Eye Pen, This has been my go to liner for years now. The pen makes it so easy to apply. It's extremely dark and pigmented but does not budge at all. I've literally fallen asleep with it on and woken up hours later to perfect eyeliner. It's a must for me.

9 & 10.  Maybeline Color Blur and Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor, Matte Lips have taken over and these two items are absolute favorites of mine. They have beautiful nudey-pinks in both lines that last forever and look great on. Every time I wear them I have people ask whats on my lips.

So there you have it, these are my favorite, go to inexpensive products. I would love to know if you've tried any of them or have found others that you think work better. Let me know what you think in the comments below and don't forget to share with your friends!

  2. I've always loved Voluminous mascara but haven't tried this one with the primer, so definitely trying it. Will have to try the lip color as well. I've applied a high gloss over lipcolor for so long and I need to get with today and try a matte and maybe skip the gloss or maybe not, stuck in my old ways lol? That's why I'm enjoying your blog, to update my old look.

    1. I have a feeling the matte look won't last forever. And gloss is always in! I would definitely try the mascara. They have a slightly different formula that comes in a red and white tube that I love as well.
