Wedding Season is fast approaching and I could not be more excited! I absolutely love everything about weddings. The Dresses. The Decor. The Love. The Dancing. The FOOD! If you ever wondered why TLC plays hours and hours of Four Weddings and SYTD Re-Runs.... It's because of me. Seriously.

Lucky for me I have two weddings to attend in the next couple of months!! So, I have been scouring the internet for the absolute perfect dresses! Thus far, I've managed to narrow it down to these ten. I just need to whittle it down to two!
I have no idea, how I will pick.

There are links below each picture for you to check them out for yourself! (Feel free to let me know in the comments which two are your Favorites!)

I know which ones I am leaning towards, but I'm not going to spill until I know for sure. BUT, I will let you in on some tips I have for looking amazing at any wedding or special event!

1) LET THE DETAILS TELL THE STORY, NOT THE COLOR

We have all heard a million times that you don't wear white to a wedding. But what about Lime Green or Fire Engine Red. (Now, truthfully any color is fine and acceptable) However, I personally tend to lean towards more muted or classic colors. And here is why; It is the Bride's Day. And while you can still take the opportunity to dress yourself to the nines you don't want to wear anything that draws too much attention to yourself.

If you're in a group picture with the bride in an extremely loud color, the eye of anyone looking would probably go straight to you! So, my advice is to stick with blacks, pastels, or muted colors. And let the textures and details of your dress be what make your look!

2) DRESS FOR YOUR BODY TYPE

This is something that goes for everyday. But, especially an event where you will be drinking and stuffing your face with all the shrimp cocktail. Personally I know my problem areas lie between my rib cage and my thighs. So, when I pick  dresses, I usually LOVE to go for an empire waist. I find it's naturally the most flattering on my body. But, the added perk is that I can eat as much wedding cake as I want without having to feel self conscious about my gut poking out!

For you it may be an A-Line or a Sheath. Just do what accentuates your beautiful body, best! Here is a great article about dressing for your shape.

3) MAKE YOUR SKIN GLOW

I always find it tempting to take any night out as an excuse to do a heavy smokey eye! Maybe I'm a weirdo... but if you are like me and have to remind yourself to go light on the makeup (because the bride is the star, not your blending skills or winged liner), then a safe bet is to channel all of that skill and focus toward your skin!

Now, it's my personal opinion that  a little touch of a tan makes everyone look beautiful, but if that's not your thing you can still get a bright and glowy look with the right moisturizers/oils. Some of my favorites are Scott Barnes Body Bling, Jergens Shea Beauty Oil , & Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Leg Makeup (I mix this one with a regular lotion to tone down the color a bit).

With a natural and beautiful glow you will look just as youthful and in love as if it were your own big day!

4) HAVE FUN

It's not cliche. A Smile makes everyone look prettier. Because it really is what radiates from within that attracts others to you. GiGi Hadid herself would have nothing on you, if you just allow yourself to bask in the evening and enjoy your surroundings. Weddings are a celebration of all things that are right in this world and what better place to let your inner joy shine!

XOXO
